Standard Return Policy
Our goal is to ensure your complete satisfaction. If you are dissatisfied with your purchase, you can return it back to us within 30 days of the purchase date (if purchased directly from Robart).
If you purchased from a dealer, please contact them directly.
Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be received within 7 business days of receipt of merchandise. Returns may be subject to a 15% restocking fee.
If you want to exchange for a different item, you will need to return the item and place a new order.
STEP 1: REQUEST RMA NUMBER
- Enter your email address.
- Follow the instructions and select the items you want to return.
- Once your request is approved, you will get a confirmation email with shipping guidelines.
STEP 2: PACK THE ITEMS
- Place your item in the original packaging and/or sturdy box and secure.
- The return must be properly packaged to protect against damage in transit.
- The last 4 digits of the RMA # must be clearly written on the shipment.
STEP 3: SHIP THE ITEMS
- You are responsible for the shipping charges to return the item to us.
- Any damage or shipping stickers applied to the original packaging during shipping will affect the return and can result in higher restocking charges on that item.
Returned merchandise must be in unused condition and in its original packaging. The mounting of retracts, air tanks and air valves constitutes "used merchandise". Most returns will be subject to a 25% restocking fee. Returns in poor condition may be refused or the restock fee may be increased to cover the cost of repairing and repacking the product to new condition.
When packing your merchandise for return, please be sure all of the original packing materials and instruction sheets are included. Please note if an item is damaged in transit due to improper packaging, you may be charged for parts and labor to repair the item to new condition.
Please fill out the return form, print a copy and submit it. We will contact you within 3 business days with a Return Authorization Number to put on the “box”. Issuance of RA number is not a guarantee that the product will be accepted for an exchange or return. Freight is to be pre-paid on all returns unless you call to receive special authorization from Robart Mfg.. Freight charges will not be refunded. The customer is responsible for insured shipping back to our facility. Please ship back by a tractable shipping company. (i.e. UPS or Fed-Ex)
Returns without RA # will be shipped back to the customer freight collect.
All warrantied products will be returned freight free within the United States. All warrantied products returned outside the US will incur a shipping charge to have the product shipped back.
Returns sent COD will be refused.
Sorry we can’t accept returns on Custom Made Retracts or Struts. In addition modifications made by customers will void the warranty and returns will be refused.
If you receive a defective item please call us for return instructions. In most cases, we will accept the return and either fix or replace the item if warranty applies. Please send a copy of the receipt along with the defective merchandise.
If a package has been damaged in shipping and it is apparent, please refuse the delivery. If you already accepted the package and discover that it has been damaged please call us immediately at 630-584-7616.
